First Grand finals of Showtime happened today. There were 11 groups who performed and showed their talents. Complete list of the finalists can be found here. The grand winner was the last group who performed, XB GENSAN. It is very interesting that this group won considering that they joined the finalist as the wild card winners together with Boys unlimited dancers. But this group deserves to win. The routine was great, they are great dancers and you can just feel their emotions. Here’s a video from youtube. Enjoy!

Congratulations to XB Gensan and to the 10 other finalists. They are all good and they are all world class talents. Proud to be Pinoy.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to to our trip going to Batangas, tomorrow my plans include staying at home, playing with my family and Sunday, I want to go home early because hubby is left alone in our house!

My son is sleeping; it’s the best time to do what I have to do. Speaking of sleep, it is a very important factor for kids’ growth. I see to it that my kid gets enough sleep. As a preschooler he needs about 10 to 12 hours of sleep. He doesn’t usually get this at night. He sleeps about 8 to 10 hours at night but I make sure that he takes his daytime nap. I saw in my own son that lack of enough sleep affects his behavior too. What I am proud of about him is that he always sleeps soundly at night. Even when he was a baby, I didn’t experience sleepless night because he too was sleeping peaceful at night. I am thinking maybe he is just comfortable with the baby bedding I used for him. It’s simple but he is very comfortable with it.

Some factors to consider in getting a good night sleep is the kids bedding. Your kid should be comfortable with his bed and/or mattress, pillows and blankets. Make sure that you choose the right crib bedding for your babies. Your child has different needs depending on his age.  Keep the area clean and arranged. Make sure also that the lightning in the bedroom is just enough. Bright lights can disturb a child’s sleep. Noise coming from television, phone, or computers should also be avoided. But the most important factor to consider is that the parents should set a good example. If it is time to sleep, parents should initiate the action and start preparing for bed. If the child sees your pattern chances are he will adapt it too. I hope you and your kid will also have a good night sleep.

I was born and raised as Roman Catholic. I studied in parochial school in elementary and high school. I even remember that in my elementary days, the number one item in our diary is “Visit the Blessed Sacrament daily.” We do it, not even knowing why we do it. As I grow up, I became more open to religion and spirituality. I am still a Roman Catholic but I respect other people beliefs and religion. I don’t try to convince them on nor criticize them. Some times I would even admire their way of thinking and spiritually. Whatever religion we have if we don’t have faith in God and follow his will it’s useless. I see a lot of people who think they are so religious and yet they would judge other people as if they are most holy. I hated that. Nobody is perfect.

Having a personal relationship with God is more important. I pray, but not every day. As much as possible, I try to attend mass every Sunday. It is the only time I can give Him. I currently attend mass at Valle Verde with The Light of Jesus community headed by Bo Sanchez. His stories and sharing inspire me a lot. We all have free will on what to believe, God gave that to us.

My husband loves playing basketball. Actually, he plays basketball at least once a week with his office mates and they usually ask other teams to play against them. They joined a basketball club that is open to all employees of his companies regardless of branch. He was asking me earlier if I know where to buy cheap jerseys but with good quality. It would help them if they don’t spend too much on their jersey. I think I need to help him by looking for a good shop for them.
