Be Prepared
My mother would always say “prevention rather than cure.” It’s better to eat the right foods, take vitamins, do exercise and other stuffs to prevent us from being sick, rather than curing the sickness. We need to help ourselves and not only depend on people who have taken online nursing classes to help us. But there are just some illnesses that we can’t prevent or sometimes no matter how cautious we are we still get sick. In this cases having medicare supplement plans will help us in case of emergencies. It’s better to get a health plan today rather than experience the stress of thinking where to get money to pay the bills when someone in the family needs to be hospitalized.
Window shopping
Last Tuesday was husband’s rest day, so he decided that after we do some errands we go to the mall do some strolling and just window shop. We went in and out of different clothes shops. Each of us would have our own time on looking on what we want. First we go to different shops looking for a nice jersey or even men’s polo shirts for husband. Next stop would be on the ladies section, checking out new blouses that would fit me, and last but not the least on the toys and kid’s book section. My son enjoys looking at different toys and books. We don’t buy what we want, we just take note of it and if we have extra money, we would get back to them and buy them.
The power of Facebook
I was busy doing a research about different skin problems like eczema and how to cure it when a message at facebook pops out of the screen. It was a message from a school mate in High School. He was asking me about my life and if everything was okay as if we were close. LOL. I can’t even remember that we were talking in High School but anyway I still chatted with him as if he was my friend. This is the power of facebook, though people are not that close they get to chat with each other to simply say hi and hello and sometimes liking and commenting on each other’s posts as if they care so much. Oh, anyway, the research I was doing was for my younger brother because I was trying to be a helpful sister. LOL
Jhong Hilario leaves Showtime
Last Saturday was Showtime’s second monthly finals. Usually, on Saturdays there will be an eviction among the judges but since there is a special set of judges the voting and eviction is suspended. The set of judges last week was special and they will just stay for a week. Each special judge said their final message. Little did everyone know that even the longest un-evicted judge, Jhong Hilario will bid his farewell message.

The “Sample King” voluntarily leaves as a Showtime judge because he has something to do that he didn’t elaborate further. As he says his last message to the hosts and audience, everyone was teary eyed. I know, deciding on this matter would have been very difficult for him because he really loves his job as a judge, that’s just my observation while I watch the show everyday.
It would be another journey to search for a good judge that would fit Showtime’s image. Finding a good judge like Jhong would be hard just like finding a perfect slimquick plan for people who wants to have a perfect figure. For sure, Showtime family will miss someone as good as Jhong Hilario. He was not just good in saying his comments to the contestants but also he is good in making the audience happy because of his sample dance every single show.
Ranking
I mentioned already that I have a new blog. It means I have to start building back links, affiliations and gain visitors for this new food blog. It’s like starting from scratch again. Actually, my two blogs also need more exposure because several months have passed already and it still doesn’t have page rank. I am thinking of submitting my blogs in different web directory to help me improve my blogs’ ranking. I remember I did this when I had my first blog. Oh well, I guess I better start working so that next month at least one of them would have a good rank. Do you have any other tips on getting an improve ranking and traffic for our blogs?
On Sales
I used to be in the marketing department of a fast food restaurant wherein we visit schools and different companies and offer them our food packages for their special events or parties. I was able to close some accounts but I still think I am not as good as my mother who has been working in the sales department for as long as I can remember. She is really good at it, she can close big projects. Aside from being employed in a hardware company she is also a member of different companies like avon, fuller life, and other direct selling companies. I think given the opportunity she can also be a diet supplement affiliate. I’m sure in a short span of time she would have prospect clients and maybe she will have a sale even after a few days.
