Author: Last night was the pilot episode of Imortal, a fantasy series starring John Lloyd Cruz and Angel Locsin. Yes, I am a fan of Angel Locsin so I just can’t miss the pilot airing of this much anticipated series. I finished all of my chores and we ate dinner early so that I won’t miss watching this show. I even put aside a post about term life insurance.
Imortal follows the story of the centuries old war between vampire and werewolves. Vampires came to the land seeking for human blood while werewolves were the protectors of human from the blood suckers. Vampires were no match to the werewolves that’s why they have no choice but hide themselves. But they are just waiting, organizing and preparing to come out for a battle. But what if the vampire and the werewolf fall in love with one another? John Lloyd plays Mateo, who is destined for greatness and power only he can possess while Angel plays Lia who is trying to clear her Mother’s name and restore her standing in the powerful world of Taong Lobos(werewolves).
Directed by Chito Roño, Jerry Sineneng and Trina Dayrit, also star Maricar Reyes, Rico Blanco, Jomari Yllana, Jake Roxas, Vivian Velez, Johnny Revilla, and Jaime Fabregas. Can’t wait to watch the second episode later tonight after Noah on Abs-Cbn.

I like the visual effects; nonetheless, I must say it’s a copycat of Twilight. For those who are involved in making Imortal, they should add something fresh, add a twist, and not just copy, copy, …
Anyway, they deserve a congratulation. I’m thinking of watching it, though not necessarily become an avid fan.
The first part, I must agree its like twilight, the love between vampire and human, but the story doesn’t revolve around them, the love story revolves around a vampire and a werewolf, more of the underworld. hahaha
di ko alam ito, sis. kapuso kase ako.
