I dropped by at my friend’s house last night to give her some leaves to be used as natural medicine. She has been sick since December and until now she is still taking medicines to stabilize her health. With the medicines she is taking she is gaining a lot of weight. It seems that every day she is getting bigger and bigger. I am really worried about here. Overweight can also lead to different complications. If only I can give her quick weight loss tips so that she can get back to her original weight but I can’t because it’s the side effect of what she take. So, I think whatever tips I give her it just won’t take effect. As of now, aside from supporting her with herbs, I am praying hard that she will get well as soon as possible.

Not me but a friend of mine that I talked with the other day. She got a problem, she was really furious with her partner. She was not crying, she was trying to be strong. She was asking me to come with her and have fun, go to a bar or disco and get some drinks. She wanted to try new and different things, she even mentioned on trying some Swisher Sweets. I was like, ahh.. uhmm.. Are you really sure? I don’t really know if my friend is in her proper state of mind. Hehhe, just don’t tell her . You see she is not a smoker and a drinker and yet she is inviting me to drink and smoke. Good thing I was able to convince her that we should just have a food trip. It’s yummier and it’s safer. It’s what I do, when I’m down and sad, I’d rather have some ice cream and yummy dishes. How about you, what do you do when you are depressed?

I wanted to join this Month’s Girl Talk Topics because it talks about friends. So, when I was looking for a picture to post here, I realized that I don’t have plenty of pictures with my friends. So here’s what I got, a picture when I celebrated my seventh birthday. This is the best that I can get.

The little me, is the first girl on the left. Yes, I always wear dress before, unlike now, I don’t even have a dress in my closet.  The closest friend I got there, is Janice, the girl beside me, and Karla, the girl that was covered by Hershey. My bestest friend from childhood, Grace is not in the picture.  Karla and Grace have a big brother, just like me, I have a “Kuya” and all of the boys are friends too. We also play with our kuyas. Often, after school, in the afternoon, all the kids in the block would gather and we play games. Like “patintero”, “tumbang preso”, “agawan base”, and hide & seek. Of course, we do play girls game too, when the boys are playing boys game. Ooh, I miss childhood and I miss my childhood friends.

It’s 2010 now, and I think it’s time for Outreach Program Wave 3. But since the forum is dead now, we are thinking of a theme for the event.

How about you bloggers, would you be interested to join an Outreach Program? Are you willing to help in anyway?

We had our first outreach program last 2008 at Pasig, the name of the orphanage is Jesus Loves the Little Children Foundation. We are a member of a forum called Banidad. no links..haha.. it’s not existing anymore, and Paulo, suggested that we do something good.

We had our own blue shirts, as a remembrance, it also served as our uniform that time. A member of the forum, of course our friend, Ems, gave a donation,as part of her birthday celebration. It was so kind of her, right? So, our sweet Paulo did something for her

oh yeah, the aim of the title, is to let the outreach participant reminsce those days. hahaha. I’m already asking them if they want to have a Year 3. and Paulo the organizer needs a little encouragement so he will organize the outreach again. hahaha. where are you paulo? hahaha

We are STILL best of friends….

More mature, have our own family,

But still we are together

We may not see each other as often as before but still we are intact

The friendship is now 10 years old and still counting.
