It’s Friday and I am late for Girl Talk meme. I was out for the whole day yesterday and when we got home there was no net connection. Oh, anyway, I am always late in almost all memes.

This week’s topic is about loving oneself mentally. I am not that intelligent but I am not totally dumb at all. I am not a consistent honor student from Elementary to High School but I manage to maintain high grades. My grades are often line of 9 and I seldom get line of 8 grades. I experience getting a grade of 79 in high school and would you believe that the subject was Filipino? Hehehehe. That was my first and only time I experience receiving that kind of grade. I managed to graduate High school with honors plus best in Physics and math. Yes! While most of the girls dread Math, I love math. For me it’s the most practical subject because we use it in our daily lives. Too bad, I was not able to get scholarship in college that’s why I was forced to stop studying. But when I was able to take a two year course, again, I graduated with honors again.

I am also good in directions and I can easily go to a place with proper instructions, maybe because I hate asking a stranger where a place is. I can easily remember things but lately I have problems remembering some names of some person, I blame it on my CS operation. I can think maturely but I can think like a child too. It’s fun being childlike, thinking of no worries and just enjoying the game.  I am a little hard headed because whenever I ask my friends for advice I would usually do exactly the opposite of their advice. It may be good or bad but I want to decide on my own not just because somebody tells me to do it. I do think a lot before deciding on things though I have lots of wrong decision but I learn from them. I became stronger because of them because for me, experience is the best teacher in this game called life.

We got invited to a children’s birthday party yesterday.  I called a friend of mine who reside to near the venue. I invited her to the party too. ^_^ Good thing our friend was good enough to accommodate another visitor. But they really got lots of visitors and the party was fine and I enjoyed talking to my friend while my son is busy joining games. The food was great too that I finished all the packed food. My son was teasing my again, he said “Mommy Taba!” Or Mommy is fat. heheh. It’s fine, he enjoys teasing me and I will tease him back. I told my son I will be looking for the best diet pills in town so that I will lose weight fast and he can no longer tease me. He said, “mommy no! Don’t do that” and I asked why, he said “I will not be able to tease you anymore if you are already sexy.” Hahaha. He is a very supportive son. But he would always say, though mommy is fat, I love you even more! Hahaha. Ohhh I just love it!

Ever since the company President announced the shut down last May 31, the common question would be what are your plans after the closure? It may be an agent asking me or a fellow agent. The boss even asked me the same question after the announcement. My simple answer is “wala pang plano” or “no plans yet!”

Again, again, you might wonder if you are reading the right thing. Yes, the company I am employed is shutting down and our last operations day would be on June 30. While me and the accounting head and the IT head would stay for another month. It is just now that I am sharing it with you friends, I think I just told it to two online friends, Sam and Kissy. But I think its better to let out what’s inside my head.

Worries are getting in the mind of the employees. What will happen next? Where will I apply? What if I don’t get hired immediately? Those are the common questions even though the agents are being offered another job with another company wherein they are already qualified 75% because the owner of that company is a friend of our president.

My reaction? I have mixed emotions. Yes, it is sad to leave a company, I’ve stayed here for more than three years now, and I just can’t imagine that I won’t be receiving any money on my ATM starting August. But you know I am happy at the same time. Is this God’s way of giving me a chance to fulfill my dream of being a stay at home mom or better yet a Work at Home Mom? As I mentioned, I don’t have plans, even plans of applying in different company. But will I get enough opportunities online to help support my family’s expenses? I need to earn about $200 a month so it will be like I’m still working. Yes, I am worried too but I have to enjoy our last days here at the office.

I have dreamed of staying at home and taking care of my son 24/7. But of course, I want to have my own income too. Good thing I was able to know that earning online is possible. As of now I am a working mom, and I am at the office 9 hours a day. If ever I will have a chance to work at home I still want to have modern office furniture that would make me feel I am still at the office. If only I can afford to buy a nice and comfortable office chair for our own use because as of now, I just using a stool as my chair. It is not comfortable, I tell you, and it doesn’t help my posture and my dexthro-scoliosis.

Almost all the ladies out there are very vain when it comes to hair. I myself, though I am not really vain, is very vain when it comes to my hair. I have a healthy, long black hair and I want to maintain it that why. People tend to notice that my hair strands are thick. The problem is lots of hair is falling out everyday. Though, I am not really afraid that it will result to hair loss, or worst to thinning or balding. I have read that it is normal to lose about 100 hairs per day that maybe cause by styling, aging and lifespan. A single hair has a life span of 4.5 years and it is replaced within 6 months. Aging, Hereditary, gender and hormones are also a factor of hair loss. Hair loss is more common in men than women. But just the same, we have to do something to prevent this problem.

It’s good that different products are already available in the market to treat hair loss. One should choose the best shampoo for hair loss or maybe the best treatment available in the market. I hope I would not resort to any treatment when it comes to my falling hair. This is considered as the crowning glory, so it is also important to take care of our hair properly.

I think the last time I pig-out was last night.

Oh no, I don’t have any pictures of the food last night, so I will just consider last night as a normal dinner. heheh

So, the last time I pig-out was last Saturday, April 24 with my husband and son. We ate at Chowking at Shaw branch near the Philhealth building. Hehehe.  Why did I consider eating at Chowking a pig-out, let’s read and see what’s on the table:

1 veggie soup

1 value king crispy noodles with Ice tea

1 value king chorizo chao fan with ice tea

1 grad treat A. (composed of 3 Fun size halo halo with one scoop of ice cream, 3 rice, 1 salo lumpiang shanghai, 1 salo sweet and sour pork and 3 softdrinks)

Just by typing that I am getting hungry, lunch time is just few minutes away. hehehe. All those food for us three only, me, my husband and my 5 years old son.

I am a full time employee as Payroll Assistant at a not-so-popular call center in Ortigas, Pasig. I just finished an Associate Degree in Computer Science, so do you ever wonder how I landed as a Payroll Assistant. That would be a long story to bore you

I am a mom to Jerome James aka JJ or Jhay – Jhay(just want the spelling to be maarte. lol) and a wife to MJ or Emjhay(yes another maarte spelling courtesy of me). But I am not really maarte, I am just simple. I’m a bit boyish too, I’d rather wear a snickers than a heeled shoes. I enjoy playing with my boys, it may be with the PS2, or a time in the playground or just at home, horsing around playing kilitian na may wrestling, as my son calls it.

I’m not complicated but many people find me snobbish at first, maybe because I am really quiet in person especially if it is the first time we met. But once we get to know each other, I have lots of story to tell, from general patronage topic to R18 topics.

I do lots online which includes serving food at My cafe(cafe world), harvesting crops(Farm ville), building my own company(Ponzi). I am also fond of playing Plants vs Zombies, Ranch Rush, other online games and a confessed forum addict. I started my blog, Earn Money Online with Red in August 2009, hoping that I can get more referral for my earning sites. But I discovered something else. Blogging is FUN. It’s fun reading the different blogs of different people. It’s nice getting to know other people online. So I decided to have Simple pero rock, my personal blog. Eventually, I joined different contest, that led me to create Contest & Giveaway craze. A blog dedicated to the different contests online. I am hoping to learn more and more about blogging, and of course, to EARN more and more with blogging. So, if you have any idea to earn, please share it with alright? I would highly appreciate it. lol.

So, This is me. Red is Marose, simple pero rock, a working mom, a wife, a daughter, a sister and a friend, hoping to be a work at home. A forum addict and now a trying hard blogger.

Beef noodles with egg. I tried looking for pictures in the net for this and thanks to dummyatcooking.wordpress.com this is the best that I got.

I love eating this when I was in Elementary. This serve as my breakfast when I am in a hurry. This is also a fast food for me whenever I am hungry.

When it comes to dessert,I can’t say no to this one. Just posting the picture here makes me crave for it. When I get depressed these two will be the best to cheer me up.

I received a text message from Sam this morning. I know Sam is very busy. Trying to maintain three blogs, taking care of son Sanjo, and also working at home as virtual assistant from 6am – 3pm. Plus some household chores. I just can imagine how busy this mommy is. But still, she took time to create my badge for my site. As she said, it is not complicated, just enough to match my header. It’s just me. Simple. but Rocks. I’m not really hard to please especially on things that I’m not good at. Well, I’m not good at almost everything.

Just as I posted last week on GT, we will have no celebration for V-day. My hubby went to work as usual, while me and my son spend time playing plants vs zombie and some nintendo games. In the afternoon, we went to Church and at night, we brought JJ to my Mother-in-law’s place.

But, before the V-day, we already have a date, happened Wednesday and Thursday night, here are some pictures.
