This is the nice gift from my brother to me this Christmas. It is a cute soft pillow that turns to a cuddly stuffed toy. I know it is not as expensive as a mountain hardwear from RockyMountainTrail.com but I like it so much. Based on the label attached, there are different designs like dog and pig, but I like this bee so much because it’s colored red! It’s my favorite color. It is cute, huggable and cuddly, my son even borrowed it from me immediately. It’s already on our bed and I hug it at night. Thanks brother!

I don’t have a perfect vision. I used to ignore it before until I am having a hard time reading words that is far from me. I realized this when we had a family outing and we were singing videoke. I can’t enjoy singing because the lines of the song are very blurry on my part and I can no longer read it. I tried borrowing my future sister-in-law’s prescription glasses and viola! I can easily read the song lines. This incident made me decide that I need to see an optometrist to have my eye checked and indeed I need an eye glass so I can see things clearly.

I was glad that finally can see things and words clearly but my pocket is not really glad as prescription glasses are expensive. I have bought three or four glasses in the past already just because I would lost it or it broke.

Last year, I decided to try using contact lens, it’s cheaper and I can choose if the lens would be good for one month, six months but I choose a lens that would last for one year. So, in the coming 2012 I need to change my contact lens but I am having second thoughts on getting a contact lens again. I feel my eyes are easily irritated and it become so itchy. I think I would rather have prescription glasses, who knows, I just might win Cubik eyewear simply by joining the Cubik Eyewear Blogging Contest! I really need an eyeglass with affordable style and quality just like Cubik eyewear. I need not to worry about the quality because they follow standards and they only have licensed opticians and ophthalmologists. Looking at their beautiful prescription eyeglasses, I feel like wearing the Cubik 946 C2. But actually, I am torn between two glasses, I also like Cubik947 C1 as it has my favorite color, red. But I am not sure what lens fits me more. What do you think?

I’m crossing my finger on this one, I do hope I can have a new prescription glasses next year, this would serve as a birthday gift for me this February.

Lately, I and my husband have been going to different places here in metro manila that we haven’t visited yet. We are able to dine for the first time in different grill and bar. The problem is sometimes we don’t know how to go there and would just end up asking questions to strangers. If we only have a device like dezl series to safely guide us with our trips. Good thing, some of the places that we visit are easy to find. I have to remind myself that I would make a review on the grill/bar that we are able to visit.

I am late again for Girl’s Talk but since the linky is still open I still decided to do this post. The topic was about the best birthday gift I have received ever. When it comes to gifts I appreciate everything even if it is as small as a note saying “happy birthday” to me. I have received material gifts from my friends and loved one and I appreciate them all. For me every little birthday gift like a small bear key chain is as special and as best as the big birthday gift I received like a big bear stuff toy given by my husband but nothing can be as special as the gift I received in 2005. I got my birthday gift earlier than my birthday. The gift should have been out in second week but He decided to give me my best birthday gift six days before my birthday and it is no other than my little boy. I gave birth to my son on February 5 and there is no other birthday gift as special as holding him on my birthday which is on the eleventh.

I just came from a leadership camp but this is not the usual camping you would think of like sitting around a bonfire while cooking hotdogs with marshmallow over the fire, sleeping in tents, go hunting using a barska scope and just having lots of fun. The leadership camp was fun too but there is a deeper meaning to that camp. There are activities both indoor and outdoor, there are sessions and lectures and it will just bring out the leader in you. I am so happy I was able to go to that camp courtesy of my upline in the networking company I belong too. I didn’t now that networking companies held leadership camps and this is my first time to attend one. I am just so happy and I know I would be able to apply all the things that I have felt and learned from that camp.

I just came home from a four days and three night’s leadership camp. It was held at Matabungkay each result. It was my first time to go to Matanbungkay. The place has swimming pool, beach, salon and spa, playground equipment, restaurant, campsite and other facilities. The place was beautiful and the experience I got from the leadership camp is awesome. Though we didn’t use most of the resort’s facilities since we have our set of activities we were able to go around the place because of a fun activity. The place is nice to have company outing, camps, , wedding and even family outing and I hope sometime soon, I would be able to return there with my family to have a family outing.

After attending the morning session of The Feast today at Valle Verde today, I and my brothers decided to eat our lunch at McDonalds. Our mother has to stay around because she still has a meeting to attend, so she just gave us a fare to go home. But I asked my brothers if they want to eat and all there answers were yes. I just told them that we would chip in for our meal and they all agreed, well except for the youngest because he doesn’t have money in his pocket. Hehehe. Anyway, we just walked going to the nearest McDonalds and we ordered our lunch. It was just a simple lunch, nothing extravagant, just enough to make our stomach full but it was worth it. We were so hungry that I forgot to take a picture of our chicken meal.

This lunch date happens very seldom and I know my brothers are also happy with it. They can still remember the last time we ate together like this and it was last year, I can’t even remember the month but we all can still remember what happened. We were talking about it and my son kept on asking why he can’t remember it and we just happily explained that he was not there because he was at his paternal grandmother’s place that day. After the meal, we decided to buy some fries for a longer bonding time. I hope dates likes this would happen more often.

I have four brothers. One is older than me, already working and the rest is younger and my half brothers. Christian is next to me and is already in college. Jhon Paul is next and is graduating this year while the youngest is in first year high school. It’s nice that we get to bond from time to time. This holiday vacation gave us more time to do what we enjoy doing like playing card games, eating together, attending mass and going to the mall. Sometimes we would also talk about school, office, work and retail jobs. Most of the time we miss our eldest brother because he is always busy at work. Anyway, by next Sunday the family would be complete.
