Photos

Do you like taking pictures of events, occasion, animals, and your loved ones or just about anything? Do you like photography and all its aspect?  Well, I stumbled on this site about the photos of Matt Wier. The blog is simple with white background but you can see different and interesting pictures. There are photos of people, occasion, nature and some others. I really like the underwater pictures. How I wish I can also take photos like that.

Pulse oximeter

I was talking to an agent a while ago. She is a Nursing graduate and I was asking her why she ended up as call center agent. She told me some stories, until our conversation ended up talking about nursing and some medical terms. I don’t understand all terms she used such as pulse oximeter. I didn’t know what it is so I decided to ask Mr. google. I learned that a pulse oximeter is a medical device that is used to measure the oxygen saturation of a blood. Some monitor display hear rate too. This device is portable and battery operated. I learned something new today. Maybe, I should talk to our nurse-agent more often. :D

It’s so hot!

Can you feel the heat? Though summer is about to end, it is still hot here in the Philippines. Yesterday morning it rained but it was just a quick rain and the result it was even hotter in the afternoon and night. This heat makes me dream of spending a vacation in countries that has winter season, like Finland or Canada. I can just imagine wearing winter clothes, enjoying the snow, sipping hot coffee or hot choco, and trying to make myself warm over a fireplace. Since, we live in a tropical country; we don’t have any fireplace here that can make our home more beautiful and stylish. But do you know that outdoor fireplaces, can add style for our backyard or garden? Maybe, if I have my own home with a space for garden, I try adding an outdoor fireplace.

By Purchasing John Hardy Jewelry, You are Helping the World Around You

John Hardy started his collection of jewelry with his wife from their home in Bali. Many of his jewelry is sold in stores across America, and over the Internet. He has several websites in which customers can look at and purchase several varieties of jewelry, as well as ask questions about the jewelry and join the Hardy Klub.

The Hardy Klub is a members-only club that allows its members to see upcoming John Hardy collections before anyone else, receive special event invitations and receive the John Hardy newsletter. Members will also receive a special gift in the mail on their birthday every year that they’re a member. The online application for the Klub is easy to fill out, and will take only moments to do.

Along with their customers, John Hardy is also working to help the environment. Their “Greener Every Day” program helps the environment by using energy efficient programs; seeking ways to cease from using carbon in their company; offsetting the emissions of carbon and other harmful substances they use in their advertising, electricity, and travel by planting trees; setting up organic plants to be used as offices and workshops; recycling; and teaching their employees about ways they can help the environment. By implementing these practices, John Hardy is showing that he cares about the environment we live in as much as he cares about his customers, and that he’s willing to go to great lengths to help both.

When you purchase jewelry and other items from John Hardy jewelers, you are helping to implement the projects the company is working on to help both their customers and the environment. You are, in a sense, helping to keep our environment clean as well. You can feel good about the purchases you make from John Hardy, in more ways than one.

Beautiful Figurines

I love collecting figurines. It’s nice to receive one but its better to give out lovely figurines as a gift. These are lovely to look at and a great decorations at home for the table and cabinets, it can also be a decoration at your office table. I have my own little collection of different figurines like bear, car, animals and some others. Nice figurines are perfect gift for any occasion. Especially now that Mother’s day is fast approaching, I need to think of another unique gift for my mom. Since she has a couple of jewelries, I think Limoges Porcelain Boxes and Figurines would be a perfect gift for her. Just look at this red box with red pair of shoes, wouldn’t it be great to keep her jewelries here?

I myself would want to receive a gift like that (calling hubby. LOL) These Limoges Boxes are made of hard paste porcelain; it is not only used to safe keep precious and valuable items but also serves as a collector’s item. The designs are so lovely and unique that I myself want to own some of these items in the future. Just take a look again this lovely graduation book with a teddy bear, it would be a perfect gift for the graduate but it would be nicer to add this to my collection (calling hubby again! Hahah)

I can’t get enough of this lovely figurines. It is just so nice to look at, do you agree? To leave you wanting something for yourself, take a look at this two final photos :D and don’t forget to ask your hubby or BF to buy you one. LOL

Two holidays coming up this september

The first holiday would be tomorrow. The government declared tomorrow, Sept 7, a Non working holiday because it would be the burial of Eraño Manalo, the head of the politically influential, vernacular-speaking, and home-grown Iglesia ni Cristo, who died last August 31.

Another Holiday would be on Sept 21, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, and would be highlighted by the celebration of Eid’l Fitr.

So two long, weekend for this September. mark your calendars, and prepare for a nice family event. It would be a great time to bond with your family, especially if the parents are working like me and my husband.
