Introduction
Dishes by pehpot, obviously is a blog of Pehpot, the tag team of K in hosting the biggest blogversary contest and this review is an entry for that contest. And pehpot is also giving away $5 to the best reviewer of her blogs.

Design
The header fits the blog title very well, it shows a woman holding some kitchen utensils in front of the kitchen. The sidebars are very clean with archives, blogroll (wherein in you can see her other blogs) and some other elements. The categories are perfect; readers can easily choose what kind of food they want to see first.

Theme and Content
The title is perfect for the contents of the blog. The topic revolves around food. There are food recipes here so other people can try out her dishes too, food that the author and her family enjoys. She joins meme that talks about food like Food Trip Friday.

Writing Style And Grammar
Pehpot is good writer. She can give instructions very well that even non-Filipino bloggers can follow her simple steps in making a delicious dish. I even notice one of the recipes have Filipino translation for better understanding. Photos are enticing, it make my tummy cry. I’m not a proof reader and I’m not good with writing, but I did notice few typo errors but it’s not obvious.

Some Trivia
The footer also contains some images of pots and pans, veggies and fruits a few meat. Pehpot is more of a veggie eater though as she said she is not a vegetarian.

Recommendation
On a one to ten scale, 10 as the highest, I would rate Dishes by Pehpot, as 9. I wanted to rate it 10, but I’ve always believe that there is always a room for improvement. It’s great the Pehpot created this site and it’s perfect for people who love eating, who loves cooking, and who’s trying to cook and trying to impress their love one with a wonderful dish.

It’s my first time to visit Glitter Page, which is owned by Jaymee, a registered nurse whose an internet savvy. She likes pink, that’s why her background is pink with white and yellow floral designs. The header is so cute too that’s why it made me stay and look around to get to know the author know. I so love her three column layout because it looks like my layout except for the header and color background. hehehe but of course, our layout is still unique in our own different ways.

What I discovered from the author is that, Jaymee has been blogging since August 2008 and this blog is all about her and her world. Aside from being a nurse, she is also earning from this personal blog, where in her money tree is shown on her side bar. The blog talks about lots pf things from Nurse’s Notes to events and entertainment news. She shares her melanchilies and rants through her blog posts. A blog review for Here Comes the Bride as entry to Kaye and Pehpot’s Contest.

One of the third level sponsors of K and Pehpot’s contest is Here Comes the Bride. This is my first time to visit a blog about weddings. Here Comes the Bride has a wonderful two column layout. Niko got her personal blog,her marriage blog, her daughter’s blog, and a blog that talks about the girly side of her, but this last blog is all the trendy and heartily awesome stuffs in the internet, that’s why its called Trendy and Heartily Yours. Niko gave life to this blog in July 2009 with the aim of letting all her readers know what’s buzzing around the net now. I can see that she tried her very best to keep this site updated with the latest buzz not just around the internet but also in the entertainment world. Lately, she writes review for K and Pehpot’s blogversary contest sponsors, yup, this contest is very IN now in the internet, and actually this review is also an entry for that contest.

The header its quite simple but chic, showing the title of the blog and a woman, thinking of something, this must be Niko , thinking about the latest buzz that is worth writing and yet still looking great. It has a neat three column layout, with all the essential things on the side bar. Tough all her blogs have this three column layout, each of them have their own character.

A blog review for Husband of a BLOGGER as entry to Kaye and Pehpot’s Contest.

As the old saying goes, “If you can’t beat them, join them!” Yobib, a husband of a blogging addict, Niko, finally decided to create is own blog last June 2009. This family is making me smile and they are so inspiring, just imagine the wife got her own blog, the daughter who’s just two got her own blog too, of course maintained by her mother, and now the husband got her own abode in the internet. So lovely.

The two column layout with black bacground is very manly, a common thing in most of man’s blog I visited. It’s fun reading a blog of a guy, because most of the guys I meet have a hard time expressing their thoughts that’s why I have a great time listening or reading a guy’s stories. The topics varies, from health articles to entertainment news and facts, and of course stories about their baby girl, but what I like most here is his own version of Couple’s corner story. The wife have her own stories to share in her site, but it’s fun reading a man’s point of view in the story. You can just compare notes. Aww, this couple is just so sweet and connected.

A blog review for Girl’s rule as entry to Kaye and Pehpot’s Contest.

Girls Rule is another blog brought to you by Niko. Yup, she is one supermom, can you just imagine, a full time employee, who just got promoted, a full time mom and wife, and maintains.. wait I have to count her blogs lol… a total of 5 blogs. wow! She is one inspiring mommy!

Anyway, this blog is all about Girls. Girls rule here, so guys, just read but don’t react. hahaha. It’s the never ending talk about numerous role of a woman, from being a daughter to being a mother. Girls Rule got a new header here courtesy of K, it shows 12 sexy woman, each have their own character, this reflects the 12 ladies of marce club, wherein Niko is one of them. The header, purple background with white dots plus the clean side bars are so chic. Just perfect for for us girls. One thing I noticed, I don’t know if it’s just my browser, but the navigation menu is not in its proper place. This is the home of Thursday meme, Girls talk, which I was able to take part several times. This month theme is Dare Month. I’m having second thoughts of joining hahaha. If you are one brave girl, who loves to chit chat with fellow girls, do drop by at Girls rule, and have a great talk with the girls.

A blog review for Yena’s World as entry to Kaye and Pehpot’s Contest.

Niko’s daughter, Yelena Hayden or simply Yena was born in January 15, 2008. But Niko gave birth to Yena’s world in October 2008. Upon seeing the header, I know that this is a baby blog, there is a picture of Yena smiling proudly at her visitors. The three column layout is my favorite, wherein the sidebars widgets are placed nicely. Also on the sidebar, facts about Yena are posted.

Niko’s just love Yena so much, that this blog is all about her and how to take care of babies. This is Niko’s journal on her baby’s growth and milestones. Articles are dominated by Yena’s picture and videos and she is really an adorable baby. You can just see Yena smile, pout, talk, stay, or just about anything, it’s all about Yena, and indeed this is Yena’s World.  This adorable baby is very lucky to have a mommy like Niko who’s so sweet and so loving, but I know Niko is luckier to have a wonderful blessing in the form of Yena. By the way, Yena just turned two last January 15. A blog review for Lover Mushroom as entry to Kaye and Pehpot’s Contest.

A somewhat brown blog welcomed me I clicked on the link Lover Mushroom at K and Pehpot’s list of third level sponsors. The color perfectly fits the title; mushroom, wherein the story behind the mushroom can be read at the right side bar of the screen. Side bar widgets are neatly placed.

This is one of Niko’s blog, but this blog talks about the mushroom family . The blog started in year 2007, some of the articles are written in Filipino, so you can just relate or feel their love story. From having to hide their love to a love that endures all weather. Their story are just so sweet, I feel like I’m reading a pocketbook Though most of the entries are about the couple, Niko and Yobib and the baby Yena, you can find sponsored reviews, and some helpful tips like how to affair proof your relationship, I’m sure lots of women would be interested to read this. She is an active participant of weekly meme, called Couples Corner, wherein you will be able to get to know her through the stories she shares.
