Its 44 days before Christmas. Are you excited? I’m sure companies are already busy preparing for their own Christmas party, thinking of the themes, costumes, food, games, prizes and giveaways and other details for the party. I can remember the first party I attended with my last employer we were all required to wear something formal. Ladies are required to wear evening dress while coat for the gents. It was nice seeing the employees wearing formal attire there guys who were even wearing mens ties to go with their coats. But of course not all employees arrive with the required dress but nevertheless the party was successful. How about you guys, what are your preparations for the coming Christmas celebrations? As for me, no preparations for me since I am just here at home and I won’t be attending any Christmas party except for my son’s party at school.

This morning, I was talking to a friend who’s a nurse by profession. She was asking me if I know where to buy discounted scrubs because she needs to replace her scrub set that was stained by blood and she can’t wash it off. Yesterday I asked my husband to buy something from the supermarket. He works at a bank at SM megamall and going to the supermarket would be easier for him. What he forgot is that yesterday was SM’s MOB Wednesday. They are encouraging their shoppers to bring their own bag on this day when they do their shopping. If they don’t have their own bag, goods are packed in a brown paper bag or they can buy a reusable green shopping bag. Plastic bags are available but they have to buy it. Shoppers who will bring their own SM green bags will also receive additional points on their Rewards card. This is a good way of encouraging people to use recyclable bags and be Earth friendly. So, back to my husband, in the end he just placed the products inside his bag, next time I will let him bring our recyclable shopping bags.

I have been busy these past weeks because I have a home based project given to me by the operations manager of my previous work. I spend about 6 – 7 hours on calling different companies asking them to check the email we sent to them and following up on it. That’s why my time spent on blogging has been reduced also. At night, I can’t stay up late because I am too sleepy. I can only stay up late on weekends because I don’t have to do calls on Saturdays and Sundays but as they say staying up late at night can cause you acne. To some this is true but to other they are not affected with it. Good thing natural acne treatment cream are available in the market so just in case pimples will grow on my face then I can use it to get rid of the pimples.

Aside from playing Plants vs zombies, my son loves to play Free Online Games when I let him use the computer. That’s why whenever I see a new site that offers free games I would bookmark it and let him see it so he can find new games to play. The loading is quite good since there are just few ads. For sure I will bookmark this site and show it to my little boy.

President Noynoy Aquino declared tomorrow, September 10, 2010 as regular non-working holiday in observance of the end of Muslims’ holy month of fasting known as Eid ul-Fitr. It’s another long weekend!! For sure families have planned what they want to do this weekend. Some might have prepared their hiking backpacks for an outdoor bonding with the family. While to some family, an activity at home like watching movies and eating their favorite meal is a perfect bonding moments already. Whatever plans you have for the weekend the most important thing is that the family is together, have fun but take care too.

Kids nowadays are so techie. They can easily learn how to use and play with gadgets. Just like my son. He loves playing his toys but also our PS2. He knows how to turn it on and off and to change the cd. Though, he doesn’t know how to read yet he still knows what to choose from the menu on the screen. We don’t have our own PSP and yet when his Daddy borrowed one he instantly knows how to play with it:

He also loves toys and he likes taking picture of his toys, you can view some here. Yes, he is my little photographer already, he knows how to operate my camera and loves to take picture of different things and people.  I hope this is a start of a wonderful hobby.
