Let’s Embrace Life
A review for Embrace Life as entry to Kaye & Pehpot Contest.
This is my first time to visit Embrace Life. If I am new to a site the first thing I look for is the about page or the profile. Unfortunately, there is still nothing on the About page, so I just click on the profile to find out that nuts is the author of this blog, she is more than just a stay at home mom of two kids. She loves and embrace life.
The site’s color is green, the header have this green leafy background giving me the impression that this lady is a nature lover. She even have a story about Gumamela. With two column layout, minimal ads and widgets on the side bar, the site is clean and cool to the eyes. A widget saying her blogversary is in 220 days but her first post was done in January 6, 2009. I have to read more to find out. Anyway, embrace life caters to wide range of topics. Just imagine having 40 posts already for the month of February. She is an active weekly meme participant of Mellow Yellow Monday, Yummy Sunday, Mommy Moments, Tuesday Couch Potatoes, Water Wednesday and Girl Talk.
Nuts never runs out of ideas to share from car accessories to camp activities. With a PR of 3, this site is worth your time and visit.
Reading the letters Written by Mys
Mys, pronounced as mice, owns thoughts and Obsessions, errr Written by Mys. Yup, Mys, changed her title recently. I think I like the new title more, you’ll never miss that the site is personally written by Mys.
I like the two column layout, very clean and easy to navigate. Navigation menu on top is also available, and I notice that this girl love contest also. I like the look of a cork board on the back ground, plus buttons, that it would look like a bulletin board, as if pinning a paper with memo or love note. The touch is very personal that she even starts her article with “Dear Readers.” This is as if she is just writing a letter. I think she really likes writing letter because she even started a weekly meme called Letters I’ll never send. I haven’t joined this, but I’ll try find time to join this week.
She writes with passion and with emotion. She’s a mother to two wonderful kids and enjoy watching TV with them. An active participant to weekly memes like Mommy moments, Tuesday Couch Potato, Girl talk, and others. I enjoy reading her posts especially with her new and cool fonts. Want to know what I’m talking about? Go visit her site!
Addicted to WAHMaholic

Kaye gave birth to WAHMAHOLIC in March 2009. She was persuaded by her friends to get her own domain. But I guess she just did the right thing.
This is about a woman addicted to being a Work At Home Mom. The header shows a woman sitting in front of her PC, working. This is the perfect figure of Kaye, a WAHMaholic. The layout is so clean, with white background but with touches of pink. Very feminine. Though I’m not much fun of pink color, I find this site so cool for the eyes. It has two columns, the sidebar for advertisers and some chitchat for her visitors. At first I had a difficultly in locating the archives, until I found it at the footer together with contact, sitemap, disclosure policy, and of course, adgitize ads and entrecard widget. I don’t know if it’s just me, but it happened whenever I post a comment it doesn’t redirect to the page, but it redirects to a blank page. I’m not sure if it happens to her other visitors, but I tried it on different PC, used mozilla firefox, refreshed after seeing the blank page but the outcome is the same.
The contents of WAHMaholic is more on about her online gigs. How she earns online, doing some sponsored reviews, blog reviews for her blogger friends. She give tips and tricks on the latest earning programs she joins and how to do great in online gigs, just like her article about fillers. She Creates layout for her customers and blogger friends, GT’s New layout, is perfect, girls sitting, having a cup of coffee and talking. She really have a talent on web designs.
If in the future, I choose to be WAHM, for sure this site will be bookmarked for more WAHM tips and trick. Just visit her site and be amazed how addicted she is in being WAHM. You can also ask her for new designs for your own blog. Everything is negotiable(I think). ^_^
Random Thoughts about Kaye
Comments, comments and more comments. That’s what I’ve been doing at Random WAHM thoughts before I decided to make this review. Actually, I was thinking not just twice, but thrice or more, about how to do this review, if it’ll pass as a review. And yes, while doing this I can hear my heart beats, maybe the guard can even hear it. ^_^ I just think I am so newbie in this reviewing thingy. But when the
flashed in my mind, I decided to do this. hehehe.
K have a new layout, just about one day old. Brown and green in the background. A girl idly but stylishly sitting on the banner. As I look at it, it reflects a girl randomly thinking, as the site suggest. The layout is really clean and easy to navigate. The sidebar, showing some sponsors, and sites where she earn money online. Plus, her three column footer to show her latest post, latest comments, chitchats and the blog roll. You won’t get lost here.
K as all of you know is a Work at home mom, and I admire her courage to leave her company and choose to work at home and be with her Svet all the time. while reading her Initial thoughts on working at home, it’s making me think again on leaving my present company.
I like the way she writes and present her thought, she can be oh so serious but can be funny at times also. she can be a little bitchy also, but still will put smiles on your faces. Just visit her site and you’ll be inspired.
To top it all, she and her marce pehpot is running a huge contest, more than $500 is up for grabs, so don’t miss the chance and join the contest <just click the button above>, and don’t even forget to mention here that I referred you. hehehe.
Laughing with AnakniKulapo
Visiting AnakniKulapo is another first for me. I landed on this blog because of Kaye and Pehpot’s contest (again ^_^). He is one of the major sponsors and I need to review this site. woow! I am sweating right now. But wait, when I opened AnakniKulapo, I smiled. Actually, I wanted to laugh loud but I can’t because I’m in the office and I don’t want other people to think I am crazy.
This is another site by buraot. Wow, he is not only good in Literature but also in Humor. The menu itself made me laugh, especially because at the FAQ, wherein he put ‘u’ (FAQu) making it look like he is saying bad words. Of course, there is the warning for the readers. The site is not for too young but also not for too old. Most recent posts & commenters, categories and some ads are on the side bar. You can choose from the category what topics you want to visit, all written in Tagalog. I think the layout is clean and easy to navigate. Though, the site would be best enjoyed by Filipinos or people who can understand our language.
If you are stressed from your work or just stressed from the people around you, visiting this site would just put your stress away, especially, if you see his new office for 2010. Just a few words, but the pictures say it all. The pictures and his wordings in each article are really funny, I was even thankful that I don’t get really drunk like in “Malaimpaktong hangover for Women” Of course it has a counter part for men. Do check it out.
Anyway, if you are looking a break from your stressful life, just visit Anakni Kulapo, and get a real good laugh.
Is Iamburaot a Real Buraot?
This is another review to comply with Kaye and pehpot’s contest requirements. I am a bit nervous, because I know that this site and the author have made a mark in the blogosphere.
This is not my first time to visit iamburaot’s site. The first time I visited this site was when I got interested in the blinking yellow-black rectangle near the entrecard widget. A free service wherein you can drop 300 ec credits in just minutes, and since I was just new in blogging, I decided to join this entredropper immediately and landed on the Thirtieth List.
When I landed again on his pages, I noticed that he changed his theme color. I like this better than the old one. Not too masculine but not too feminine. I think it still reflects his personality, as he say, an antisocial. Overview about the author is available, so getting to know him or understanding him would be easier. Everything is clean, and it is easier to navigate or browse the site because site map is available. You can choose what category a visitor wants to visit first. A visitor can even search the archive by month and year if they want to or they can go directly to the entredropper lists.
The sites content is awesome. It covers different categories in the literature, nature & environment, politics, philosophy, money, astronomy, and web development. His articles shows us his opinion or views on life around him. He do have a writing gift and he is very kind to share it to all of us. I really like his article, Dawn of the new life, showed his view on the new year, and somehow made me think of my own life. It made me admire his writing and personality more.
To answer my question, is iamburaot a Real Buraot? The answer will be a big NO.
Buraot is a tagalog colloquial term for greedy or stupid.
Is he Greedy? definitely not! or else he will not give a free service of the entredropper, he will not sponsor different contests and much more he will not share his talents and gifts to all of us.
Is he Stupid? of course not! Or else, he would not have 222 followers on networkedblogs, or 105 readers by feedburner or even page rank 4.
I will be back to his site to read more of his articles. And of course, your time will not be wasted if you visit Iamburaot.
Listening to Mom Conversations
At first, I thought Mom Conversation is the same with the other site, I usually visit through a click on adgitize ad. Silly me, I was so wrong. So I need to read again the short description of Mom conversation at Pehpot’s page. Looks like I am so tensed with this blog review knowing that the hosts of this contest are an extraordinaire in reviews (quoting from Kaye’s post ^_^) I am so newbie here.
Mom Conversation is a new site which is a word press template designed by Spices of life. Since I am a new visitor in this site I was looking for the author’s profile or any information about the author. Unfortunately it is not available but I was able to read that the Author’s name is Umma. I love the simple yet direct layout. It’s nice that there are categories on top, very visible and visitors can easily choose what topics or categories they want to see first.
Since this is a new site, there are a few topics available. Though, I can say that the topics are very informative. The topics are from pregnancy to babies to health and fitness. I agree so much with her article about wooden toys. Yes, this site is very useful for moms like me.
Definitely, I will be back here to read the rest of the articles and see what is in store for this new site. I can feel that this will be another big time blog. I followed the blog, so I can easily track if there are new articles. I would also recommend this site to all the moms.
