GT: BIrthday Wish

This month’s topic at Girl’s talk is all about Birthdays and last week’s topic is birthday wish. I am super late for the Girl’s talk last week and tomorrow would be another installment so before the deadline ends I have to put up my post here. My birthday is celebrated on the second month of the year so is it a bit early for my birthday wish? Hehehe. but since it’s the topic for the week I would still share my wishes.

I wish to celebrate my birthday together with the boys in my life, my husband and my son. Their love and support are more than enough for me. I also want to celebrate my birthday with my family – my mother and my brothers. I wish for good health, peaceful family and an abundant life for the whole family. As for material things, of course gadgets are on my top list, like laptop, DSLR and other stuffs. I also want enough money to be able to pay for the house that we are living in right now, so I don’t have to worry for monthly rents.

To all the July celebrants, happy birthday to you girls, hope your special day is a blast and may your wishes come true.

GT: Best Birthday Gift

I am late again for Girl’s Talk but since the linky is still open I still decided to do this post. The topic was about the best birthday gift I have received ever. When it comes to gifts I appreciate everything even if it is as small as a note saying “happy birthday” to me. I have received material gifts from my friends and loved one and I appreciate them all. For me every little birthday gift like a small bear key chain is as special and as best as the big birthday gift I received like a big bear stuff toy given by my husband but nothing can be as special as the gift I received in 2005. I got my birthday gift earlier than my birthday. The gift should have been out in second week but He decided to give me my best birthday gift six days before my birthday and it is no other than my little boy. I gave birth to my son on February 5 and there is no other birthday gift as special as holding him on my birthday which is on the eleventh.

GT: LSS

Wow! It’s been a long time since I last joined GT, and when I typed BE on my browser BeautyQueenGene would be the first on the list. And when I saw the topic for this week is Last Song Syndrome Song or LSS, only one song came to my mind. This is my husband’s ring tone, and whenenever I hear it, it would remain in my head. Where ever I go, I feel like I am always hearing it and when I am with hubby, I would tell him, your phone is ringing. :D :D

The song is One in a million by Bosson.  I didn’t know about the song until now that I want to share some info about it.  The song was a hit in 2000 and 2001 in Europe and Asia. It was also nominated as Best Original Song – Motion Picture for the movie Ms. Congeniality which stars Sandra Bullock in the Golden Globe Award. So, here it is, enjoy!

GT: Our Place to Go

I have a hard time thinking where is the best place we ever been to or where’s our favorite bonding place, until I thought of Market! Market in Fort Bonifacio,Taguig. I think this is our favorite place, or maybe my son’s favorite place to go because of their playground. There are big slides, see-saws, swings and others.  Their big playground can even accommodate grown ups like me and the good thing about this is, it is free of charge.

Husband, son and I can enjoy shopping or window shopping inside the mall with different shops and also “tiangge” and after we get tired of walking and roaming around we can go to the playground and rest while the little boy still has energy to play around.

When the little boy is tired already that’s the time we eat. We can choose from the restaurants inside from KFC, Jollibee, Kenny Rogers, Tokyo Tokyo or any popular fast food restaurants to “paluto” outside the mall. There are also a lot of food choices outside but of course when I ask my son where to eat his choice would be Jollibee or Tokyo Tokyo because of Tempura, or KFC. We always enjoy the time together when we are at Market! Market!

GT: Black

Black is not my favorite color but I do own several things in black, like my desktop its black.  There’s a mystery in black that it is so remarkable and stylish no matter how and when you wear it.    My phones are also black, my LG phone, of course have RED linings, and see the wall paper, it’s my little boy.
celfones

I have several black blouses but I decided to share this one. It is the “uniform” we used when me and my online friends had our Outreach program year 2. Yes, black can mean death but we brought different meaning with it by sharing ourselves and blessings to the orphans.

Black is not a color it is the absence of all the colors and yet it is sexy and sophisticated. No matter how simple your black dress, you would always look sexy.

GT: Spirituality

I was born and raised as Roman Catholic. I studied in parochial school in elementary and high school. I even remember that in my elementary days, the number one item in our diary is “Visit the Blessed Sacrament daily.” We do it, not even knowing why we do it. As I grow up, I became more open to religion and spirituality. I am still a Roman Catholic but I respect other people beliefs and religion. I don’t try to convince them on nor criticize them. Some times I would even admire their way of thinking and spiritually. Whatever religion we have if we don’t have faith in God and follow his will it’s useless. I see a lot of people who think they are so religious and yet they would judge other people as if they are most holy. I hated that. Nobody is perfect.

Having a personal relationship with God is more important. I pray, but not every day. As much as possible, I try to attend mass every Sunday. It is the only time I can give Him. I currently attend mass at Valle Verde with The Light of Jesus community headed by Bo Sanchez. His stories and sharing inspire me a lot. We all have free will on what to believe, God gave that to us.
