Quality Day

Upon landing on the pages of My Quality Day, I already have the impression that the author loves nature. This is not my first time to visit the site, but K and Pehpot’s contest gave me the chance to review this site. The layout is simple, with two columns, sidebar on the left side with some ads, profile, archive, labels, awards and top commentator’s buttons.  The author calls herself Sharkbytes, at age 61 she loves hiking and blogging. I just love the pictures of nature and places she goes to, some what it also connects me to nature. Her pictures of sunrise and sunset are awesome. Aside from being an active blogger (an average of one entry a day), she’s been working on hiking the North Country National Scenic Trail for 17 years. As of last year, she already completed 3518 miles. Wow, this woman is great. She also shared her secret on the elements of a Quality Day.  This helps her remind that everyday there is something to be cheerful about. Upon reading her entry, it also gave me a reason to believe that everyday is a Quality Day.

If you want to know her secret too, just visit her site, and have a Quality day everyday.

Let’s Live Life to the Fullest

A blog review for Living Life to the Fullest as entry to Kaye and Pehpot’s Contest.

Living Life to the Fullest is a blog brought to you by Levy, a devoted mom to a boy and a loving wife. She gave up her career to take care of her family, but still find ways to have an additional income through the internet. This blog is all about her journey as she tries to Live Life to the Fullest.

Green, the color of nature, life and well being, is the background of this blog which fits the blog title so much. She have this three column layout wherein the sidebars are located both on the left side. Widgets are placed neatly; she is a proud member of She bloggers, BC bloggers, and a participant of Girls Talk and Mommy Moments. She loves joining contest too; check out the buttons on the sidebar.

I like the way she writes every article, you can just feel the emotion. Mothers and children should read her post about Debt Owed, but prepare your hanky :D . She writes interesting topics, and you’ll be amazed with cool, odd, funny facts or pictures she shares. Sometimes, she does write things that are depressing, but I know she avoids doing that. I also like her signature, a constant reminder to her readers that, “what ever happens in life we should always remember to live life to the fullest” Do give her a visit today.

Trailing the Stalking Minds

A blog review for Stalking Minds to Kaye and Pehpot’s Contest.

At first, I thought this is the first time that I landed on this blog but after browsing through the articles I realized that I visited this blog before. Good thing, I joined K & Pehpot’s Contest I was able to visit the site again. Without looking on who the author is, the layout already gave me the impression that the author is a male. The black and green background and the simple header is so masculine. It has two column layout with just a few widgets are very clean. But I would always look for the categories for an easier browsing but it wasn’t available.

The author indeed is a male. He is Valdimyr Botones, happily married with two boys. Her wife just gave birth to their second son last December 22.  Stalking Minds was launched last May 2008, this is his third attempt to make a blog. The site has a lot of interesting topics, from personal matters to current events. I found out that he is a fan of Costume role play or Cosplay for short. He attends cosplay events with his son, and he shares their experiences and pictures. I think I need to be updated with this one also, I’m sure my son would love to see different characters.

I feel that this Daddy blogger is kinda busy because he doesn’t have an updated for February, but I’m sure he is trying to fit blogging in his busy schedule. Let him feel that he have a lot of stalker by visiting Stalking Minds today.

Appreciate A Mom’s Life and Loves

Visiting A Mom’s Life and Loves is part of my daily routine. I must admit, I like the site’s new layout. I still like the three column layout, with just a few widgets on the sidebar. As for me, having categories would be very helpful. The black background just gives elegance and sophistication to the site. Amy Grant once said “Without black, no color has any depth. But if you mix black with everything, suddenly there’s shadow – no, not just shadow, but fullness. You’ve got to be willing to mix black into your palette if you want to create something that’s real.” It best describe the site, it shows the fullness and the realness of the author, Samantha.

I’ve always like Sam’s writing skills, very direct and conversational. She can express her thoughts freely on her articles. I can feel how much she misses her little girl, Sabyn, and how excited she is to raise and witness the milestones of her baby boy, Sanjo. Aside from the sponsored posts, she is a WAHM, she also shares her daily dose of Mommyhood, musics she listens, her sentiments, her joys and just anything under the sun. So, if you want to know what I’m talking about, just visit this site that have a page rank of two and find out what’s behind A Mom’s Life and Loves.

Advising Writers

K & Pehpot’s Contest gave me the opportunity to visit new sites. It also gave me the opportunity to do a review for sites I usually visit. One of the third level sponsor is Advising Writers. This is my first time to visit this site. It is a content website for online writers and information seekers. Members can publish content and make money through their content by placing ads with their content.

The two column layout is very easy to navigate. The sidebar shows the latest tags, points leaders and ads. The navigation menu is very helpful, it also has a forum wherein one can have an interaction with fellow members. Popular content ang new forum topic links are also available under the navigation menu. The content of the site varies from articles, news articles, short stores, poems and videos, upload or written by their member.

Advising Writers is perfect for writers. I’m not sure if they accept members from Philippines or Asia, but I was able to see a member from India, who’s doing good because he/she is on the points leaders. Check out the site, and publish your content and earn additional money by placing your own ads.  As for me, I still need more practice with my writing skills. :D :D

Discover the Best Vacation Places

A blog review for Best Vacation Places as entry to Kaye and Pehpot’s Contest.

An author once said “A vacation is like love – anticipated with pleasure, experienced with discomfort, and remembered with nostalgia.” This is true, right? Who wouldn’t want to have get away from his current situation or work to have a wonderful vacation? If given a chance, I would love to travel and have a vacation to the best places. This is the ultimate goal of Best Vacation Places, to share to the readers the best vacation spots and to give you ideas for your next get away. The author is Veronica who loves learning about new places and so generous enough to share with us interesting things she discovers in her adventures.

The site is so easy to navigate with a two column layout, making Archives and Categories available on the left sidebar. The header itself speaks for the title, with a beautiful sunset background plus some pictures of tourists spot, you would be encourage to read more. The author was able to categorize each article very well, to name a few categories that you can choose from are Vacation Islands, Different Vacations Ideas, Romantic Vacations, etc. It’s good that she featured Davao and Baguio as one of the best cities to visit here in the Philippines. And don’t forget that Cebu Pacific have a promo, check out her site for the details, and it’s for you to decide where to go this summer. :D :D
