Take a shot at CameraSexy

William Albert Allard once said “Words and pictures can work together to communicate more powerfully than either alone.” But in one of Walt Disney quotes it says “Of all of our inventions for mass communication, pictures still speak the most universally understood language.”  I think I have to agree more to Walt Disney’s quote because Camera Sexy is one true example of it.

Camera Sexy is a photo blog of Pehpot. Honestly, I seldom see photo blogs, I think this is only the second time I encounter a photo blog.  I think, I better visit more photo blogs soon. The dark background makes the pictures stand out. There are a few widgets that actually don’t distract the viewers from the pictures because it’s located on the footer. The navigation menu is not yet done.

Lovely pictures are posted here, and it’s always on the right category. You can choose from the categories section just below the picture. To name a few, there are animals, Litratong pinoy, food, humor, babies and kids and a lot more. True enough pictures are enough to understood language.  A picture is all you need to understand a mother’s love, no words are needed:

Seeing different wonderful pictures is a good experience, that’s why I invite you to visit Camerasexy, and be sexy like Pehpot :D

She ain’t a Novice on Blogging….

Introduction
Aside from being a homemaker, superMom Pehpot is also a blogger. (as if you don’t know. lol) Not just a simple blogger but a blogging addict. lol. Novice on Blogging is one of her blog, and I am here to do a review as an entry to the biggest blogversary contest. Now, I can here my heart beats again. heheh

Design
The header have an image of a woman in front of a laptop and a coffee, it implicates a woman who loves to be in front of a computer, either for work or for leisure, maybe even blogging. It suits the blog title so much. This particular blog have three columns footer. Hands down on the neat side bar.

Theme and Content

The title said it all; the contents of this blog are tips and techniques on blogging and online earnings. It can answer almost every newbie’s question. From getting ideas for the blog title, to reasons on why domain name is important. I myself, have a tab opened for Noob’s guide on reviewing blogs, every time I do a review on the contest’s sponsors. I try hard to follow her guide, though I know sometimes I fail. :D

Writing Style And Grammar
I can say that Pehpot is really effective in giving instruction, it maybe on a recipe or on blogging techniques. The beauty of this, almost all her articles is based on her experience, a living proof that experience is always the best teacher. The explanations she offers can easily be understood by newbie bloggers.

Trivia
Pehpot, a blogging addict, a work at home mom loves playing games, but not RPG, she enjoys playing Hangman :D

Recommendation
She ain’t a Novice on blogging, she’s one talented and experienced blogger. The site is not just for newbies in blogging or earning online, this site is for everybody who wants to gain more knowledge in blogging. She may not be an expert but Novice on Blogging helped me alot, I’m sure it will help you also. :D

At Home Here

At Home Here is home management blog courtesy of the superMom Pehpot. I’m not new on her sites, but today I’m here to create my own review of At Home Here as an entry to her and K’s contest.

The header shows typical parts of a home, wherein the things are so organize. It reflects Pehpot, at home staying beautiful, manage eight blogs and still can keep her house clean and organize. As usual, her side bars are clean, with the essentials like archives and categories are there. She is also a fan of entrecard and adgitize as shown all her blogs’ side bar.

The blog’s topics revolve around home management. This is where the author writes her rants and raves on clutters and cabinets. I’ve discovered a new word here, Declutter. Don’t look for a dictionary; it is her own word, for organizing and cleaning all the clutters in her house. She got tips and tricks here on how to be an OC, errr, on how to get your house clean and organize. I can say all her tips are very helpful, I will try it myself.

She may not be a guru on house making, but all her tips are useful and those are based on her own experiences. Did you know that she do general cleaning every month? Overall, the site is recommendable for all Home makers out there. Do help her clean the house… :D

Superb Mom of Make or Break

Among all the bloggers, I’ve known Pehpot first.  We met when we were still addicted to Cosmo board, a forum for fun, fearless females. I had a great time replying to her topics or comments and eventually we had some time to chat. Until, I can’t find her anymore at cosmo only to find out she was addicted to Mylot. She invited me and I got addicted also. ^_^ Until, she was lost again. hahaha. can’t find her on mylot, until I created my own blog, and she sent me a message at YM congratulating me on my blog, only to find out that she is already a big time in blogosphere. ^_^

I like Make or break’s layout. The header is beautiful, I can just imagine Pehpot being busy as a mom and yet blogs are in her mind. Two column with big side bar and mini sidebar and a three column footer. It has navigation bar for disclosure policy and links, just don’t click the about and advertise tab unless you can understand Latin. ^_^. A very clean layout and cool to the eyes, you can find the categories and archives on the sidebar so it’ll be easier for her visitor to choose where to read first. Visitors can even chat with her when she is online at YM without asking for her YM id. Of course you can see their contest badge and contest mechanics, at top of the mini sidebars.

Make or break is a parenting blog born because of boredom. Oh, this boredom resulted to 39 post in 2008, and a whooping 509 entries in 2009. This is more than one post a day. And as of the moment, she already have 96 entries for 2010. She is really bored. How I wish I can be as productive as her when I am bored.  lol. This boredome even resulted to Potato Test hahaha. A really crazy idea, but maybe I will try it next time I need a potato for my food. Seriously speaking, I like the way Pehpot, writes her article.  She presents it very well, she might be serious but you can sense the humor in her posts. I can feel how excited to be First time Mommy for a baby girl, Sati. I know this will be my guide in case I’ll have a baby girl on my own.

Home of famous Utoy, the adgitizing tool, that helps a lot of bloggers.  I can go on and on, how good she is with her blogs, considering the she is mainting a total of eight(8) blogs. Aside from the fact, that she still manages to be a good mommy and a sexy wifey to her hubby. This woman is superb!

If you haven’t visited Make or Break, then you are missing a lot!

Laughing with AnakniKulapo

Visiting AnakniKulapo is another first for me. I landed on this blog because of Kaye and Pehpot’s contest (again ^_^). He is one of the major sponsors and I need to review this site. woow! I am sweating right now.  But wait, when I opened AnakniKulapo, I smiled. Actually, I wanted to laugh loud but I can’t because I’m in the office and I don’t want other people to think I am crazy.

This is another site by buraot. Wow, he is not only good in Literature but also in Humor. The menu itself made me laugh, especially because at the FAQ, wherein he put ‘u’ (FAQu) making it look like he is saying bad words. Of course, there is the warning for the readers. The site is not for too young but also not for too old. Most recent posts & commenters, categories and some ads are on the side bar.  You can choose from the category what topics you want to visit, all written in Tagalog. I think the layout is clean and easy to navigate. Though, the site would be best enjoyed by Filipinos or people who can understand our language.

If you are stressed from your work or just stressed from the people around you, visiting this site would just put your stress away, especially, if you see his new office for 2010. Just a few words, but the pictures say it all. The pictures and his wordings in each article are really funny, I was even thankful that I don’t get really drunk like in “Malaimpaktong hangover for Women” Of course it has a counter part for men.  Do check it out.

Anyway, if you are looking a break from your stressful life, just visit Anakni Kulapo, and get a real good laugh.

Is Iamburaot a Real Buraot?

This is another review to comply with Kaye and pehpot’s contest requirements. I am a bit nervous, because I know that this site and the author have made a mark in the blogosphere.

This is not my first time to visit iamburaot’s site. The first time I visited this site was when I got interested in the blinking yellow-black rectangle near the entrecard widget. A free service wherein you can drop 300 ec credits in just minutes, and since I was just new in blogging, I decided to join this entredropper immediately and landed on the Thirtieth List.

When I landed again on his pages, I noticed that he changed his theme color. I like this better than the old one. Not too masculine but not too feminine. I think it still reflects his personality, as he say, an antisocial. Overview about the author is available, so getting to know him or understanding him would be easier. Everything is clean, and it is easier to navigate or browse the site because site map is available. You can choose what category a visitor wants to visit first. A visitor can even search the archive by month and year if they want to or they can go directly to the entredropper lists.

The sites content is awesome. It covers different categories in the literature, nature & environment, politics, philosophy, money, astronomy, and  web development.  His articles shows us his opinion or views on life around him.  He do have a writing gift and he is very kind to share it to all of us. I really like his article, Dawn of the new life, showed his view on the new year, and somehow made me think of my own life.  It made me admire his writing and personality more.

To answer my question, is iamburaot a Real Buraot? The answer will be a big NO.

Buraot is a tagalog colloquial term for greedy or stupid.

Is he Greedy? definitely not! or else he will not give a free service of the entredropper, he will not sponsor different contests and much more he will not share his talents and gifts to all of us.

Is he Stupid? of course not! Or else, he would not have 222 followers on networkedblogs, or 105 readers by feedburner or even page rank 4.

I will be back to his site to read more of his articles. And of course, your time will not be wasted if you visit Iamburaot.

Browsing the pages of Seiko’s diary

This is my first time to Visit Seiko’s Diary. I have always encountered her name in the different blogs, so I guess she is a popular blogger. I’ve been wanting to visit her and now is a chance since she is a major sponsor to  Pehpot and Kaye’s contest.

Seiko is using a blogger template with one big sidebar and two mini sidebar with light pink background. Unfortunately, some of the widgets on the right mini-bar didn’t fit the column. I thought that this mommy blogger is from Japan because of the touches of Japanese graphics in her layout, true enough because I checked her profile and she is located in Kumamoto, Japan. The loading of the page is not that fast, but upon loading I can hear “how did you know” playing in the background. It made me smile. It’s nice to hear a song playing while browsing her site. I love the banner, it shows the picture of the family and I was really interested in getting to know her, so I decided to browse through the old articles but I had a little hard time looking for the archive. Nevertheless, I like the layout because I think it’s perfect for Ms. Seiko.

As what the title suggests, this blog is about Seiko’s life journey as a mother and as a wife.  I really enjoyed reading some of her entries for weekly meme’s like Couple’s Corner and Mommy Momments. It reflects how loving she is. As I was reading her article and looking through the pictures I can feel that she is just here telling me stories of her life.  There is just an open question in my mind, when I read her profile it says she have four offsprings but when I look at the archive, I saw an article “they are five not four...” I guess, I will be browsing her pages more so I’ll find the answer.

In the end, I decided to follow Seiko’s blog, so I will be updated if ever there will be new posts. And definitely, I will be back, to read more about her life stories. You can also get to know her more by visiting Seiko’s Diary.
